The award-winning entertainment mogul and actress is set to receive the Prince Rainier III award at the 2016 Princess Grace Awards Gala in New York City on October 24.
Latifah is being recognized for her 28-year career in the arts, spanning between film, theater, television, publishing and music.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell will host the live event, which will be held at Cipriani 25 Broadwayin Lower Manhattan.
The Princess Grace Awards Gala, an offshoot of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, was created in memory of the late Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco and her passion for helping up-and-coming artists achieve their dreams.
