Kelly felt called to action after hearing about the tragedy from his tour manager, Kevin Gyles, who grew up in Kankakee.

“He just said to take care of the funeral costs,” Gyles said. “He does all his charity work from the heart.”

The singer donated $5,000 to help fund the services for 4-year-old Justice Stewart and 2-year-old Ju’shaun Watson, who died after being injured in a fire on April 13. The two were brothers.
