“I’ve been waiting on this project for a long time,” the Love & Hip-Hop:Hollywood star said enthusiastically of the project.

Late last week, Ray J revealed the album’s arrival by sharing a photo of himself cozied up alongside his big sister on Instagram. Along with an endearing caption which read “Best Friends,” the Raycon CEO also hinted at the project’s title through a series of hashtags, one of them being #RnB, a clear play on of the duo’s first initials.

Bringing the joint album to fruition, however, has proved to be quite a process. According to the “One Wish” singer, the concept behind the collaboration was sparked after he assisted Brandy in preparing new music of her own.

“I told her, ‘we’re undefeated together,’” Ray J recalled. “’We can beat it together.’ So, like I think we’ll win if we always collaborate and always be positive together.”

“People like that,” he added. “They gravitate to that. So, I think it’s gonna be a good run.”

While the Ray J didn’t share any details regarding the album’s intended release date, fans can expect RnB to be available at some point next year.
