Image Group LA/ABCCiara and Russell Wilson are leveling up together as part of their latest venture: co-ownership of the Seattle Sounders FC soccer club.

Tuesday, the couple announced their football merger, joining the likes of Macklemore and his wife Tricia Davis as the team’s newest group of investors.

“Seattle means so much to me and Ciara,” Wilson explained in a video accompanying the announcement. “I think, we’re fired up about obviously being a part of the Sounders for a long, long time, having ownership in the Sounders and helping build a winning culture.”

The Seahawks star quarterback first moved to the Emerald City in 2012, and has been an active member of the community ever since.

Ciara echoed her husband’s sentiments on Instagram, while also stressing the importance of what their stake in the soccer team means for her children, especially daughter Sienna

“There’s only a small handful of female owners of any Major League Sports team, and I’m proud to be one of them! You are next Baby Girl!,” the Beauty Marks singer captioned a touching video of Wilson playing soccer with their two-year-old daughter.

She added: “I have no doubt that by the time you’re my age, there will be many more!”
