Remember her: Jennifer Hudson premieres music video for latest single

by

ABC/Craig SjodinJennifer Hudson is a vision in blue in her new music video for “Remember Me.”

The track, which the singer confirmed was inspired by Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin, is the first single from her upcoming fourth album, which is also her debut disc on Epic Records.

In most scenes, the visual shows the Grammy- and Oscar-winner belting out the song in a gold, long-sleeved dress in an abandoned warehouse.

In several others, she walks among a larger group of revelers dancing in a parking lot until she eventually meets up with a former lover.

Last week, J-Hud revealed her song, “Mr. DJ,” and its accompanying music video — starring herself, Ma$eBabyface, and actor Adam Sandler — for Netflix’s upcoming comedy Sandy Wexler, which comes out April 14.

Jennifer stars in the clip and movie as Courtney Clarke, an aspiring singer taken under the wing of Los Angeles talent manager Sandy Wexler, played by Sandler.

“Remember Me” is currently available to purchase and stream via the usual digital platforms.
