Report: Beyonce’s Albums Might Be Pulled from Tidal

by

Eric McCandless/CBSBeyonce may be one of the principal owners of Tidal, but her music may be pulled from the music streaming service, according to Bloomberg Business.

Bloomberg reports that Sony, which owns the licensing rights to Beyonce’s music, is holding out for significant advance fees and if a deal isn’t made, the label may revoke Tidal’s right to stream music from its artists. While Universal already has reached an agreement with Tidal, Warner is also still negotiating over an advance.

The news comes after Beyonce has already started contributed exclusive content to Tidal, including a romantic new song “Die with You” and her appearance in Nicki Minaj’s “Feelin’ Myself” video.
