Chris Brown has caught a break. The singer, who was accused of allegedly attacking a female club-goer back in June, will not be prosecuted, according to TMZ.
The gossip site reports the Anaheim city attorney rejected the case last week, citing insufficient evidence from the alleged 24-year-old victim, Deanna Gines.
Gines initially claimed that Brown violently pushed her to the ground and caused injuries to her knees while inside the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California. She filed a suit for battery, assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The managing partner of Heat Ultra Lounge, Mike Joher [JO-her], previously told ABC News Radio, “it is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is false,” based on the information he claimed to have.
