iStock/LilliDayFollowing accusations that Malik Yoba had sexual relations with underage transgender women, Phi Beta Sigma has reportedly removed him from his role as a spokesperson for one of the fraternity’s programs, the Sigma Beta Club.

“This is a serious issue and the allegation is inconsistent with, and a distraction to, the focus of the Sigma Beta Club,” a memo to fraternity members states, according to Newsone.com.

“To safeguard the reputation of the program and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., the National Sigma Beta Club Foundation…has determined it to be in the best interest of all concerned that Brother Malik Yoba no longer serve as the National Spokesperson for the Sigma Beta Club program,” the memo concludes.

As previously reported, the 51-year-old actor recently revealed on Instagram that he’s attracted to transgender women. He also announced that he will appear at the National Trans March in Washington, D.C. and host a workshop on September 27 called “LOVE + TRAUMA: The Trans Experience.”

Following his post, Mariah Lopez Ebony accused Yoba on Facebook of having relations with her when she was underage.

Referring to Yoba, she writes, “We had sex, when I was just a teen.”

She added, “For all who applaud and salute Malik Yoba for revealing he is so called ‘Trans Attracted’…many of the Trans women he engaged in sexual exploration and exploitation with on 14th Street, Times Square and elsewhere, were minors. Including myself.”
