Report: Natalie Cole Leaves Money to Best Friends

Moses Robinson/Getty ImagesNatalie Cole‘s legacy will live on with her family and friends as the singer has left an undisclosed amount of money to two special friends, according to a report.

According to TMZ, the singer has $1.3 million in assets and has created a trust with an undisclosed amount of money and other assets.  

Cole’s will lists several beneficiaries including son Rob Yancy and multiple unnamed relatives, the site reports. In addition to family, she has left money to two non-relatives, Benita Hill and Tamara Engelstein, who are said to have been close friends that supported the singer during her battle with hepatitis C.

Natalie Cole died on December 31, 2015 from congestive heart failure. The singer was 65.
