Robin Thicke entertained the crowd on New Year’s Eve at a show in Miami’s South Beach, but reportedly, he nearly canceled the gig because he was miffed over his hotel accommodations.
Thicke sang at the SLS Hotel South Beach, and according to the New York Post‘s Page Six, an unnamed source said, “He threatened to pull out if he didn’t get a bigger room. His travel agent was calling all over Miami to get him a bigger room at a different hotel.” A spokesperson for the hotel denied the problem saying, “Robin has been a great guest.” The hotel also tweeted a photo of Thicke’s performance and added, “Thank you @robinthicke for a memorable New Year’s Eve!!”
Thicke and his wife, Paula Patton, were obviously in good spirits before heading to Miami as they were spotted in Las Vegas Sunday night at 1Oak and were “too busy kissing and hugging” to watch the show by electronic artist Major Lazer, Page Six reports.
