Tamar Braxton is reportedly facing a lawsuit for allegedly stealing a song, which appeared on her latest album, Love and War.
According to TMZ, in a newly filed suit songwriter Emmi Kozulin claims she co-wrote “One on One Fun” with Angela Hunte, and recorded a version with herself singing.
Kozulin claims Hunte had the right to license the lyrics to Braxton for her sophomore album, however, Braxton’s recorded version allegedly includes the actual vocals from Kozulin’s version.
As a result, Kozulin is now seeking 50 percent of the royalties as well as damages.
A rep for Braxton tells TMZ that the dispute “has nothing to do with Tamar,” adding that its between the writer and producer.
