Rihanna recently gave fans a sneak peek of her Rihanna for River Island 2013 winter fashion collection by posting a series of Instagram pictures captured by famed photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold.
River Island also has posted behind-the-scenes video footage of the singer selecting each piece and explaining why she selected them.
“With the winter collection we tried to incorporate a bit of floral and a bit of metallic to make it a little more elegant,” explains Rihanna in the clip. “I always like a nice dress in the winter time, I feel like that’s when all the balls happen.”
After trying on a few coats, she adds, “We had to put a little bit of sophistication on it.”
The singer’s new 40-piece winter line will be available for pre-sale on October 31. Fans also soon will be able to purchase her new MAC cosmetics makeup line, RiRi MAC Holiday, which launches globally in stores and online in December.
