With her single “Love on the Brain” jumping up to number eight on the Billboard 100 chart this week, Rihanna becomes one of only three artists in the history of the chart to appear on 30 or more top-10 singles.
Her 30th top-10 hit moves her ahead of Michael Jackson, who had 29 — not including his hits with The Jackson 5; but leaves her behind The Beatles, with 34, and Madonna, with 38, Billboard reports.
Rihanna becomes the second fastest artist to reach the milestone of 30 top-10 singles — it took her 10 years, seven months and two weeks. The Beatles achieved the feat in just five years, nine months and two weeks.
Rihanna’s first top 10 hit on the Hot 100 was “Pon De Replay” in 2005.
