The British singer and actress has signed a worldwide recording contract with Atlantic Records UK.

“Rita is a rare talent and true global star. First and foremost, she’s a great singer who’s hugely passionate about music and I’m delighted to welcome her to Atlantic Records,” stated President of Atlantic Records UK, Ben Cook

Ora has become one of the world’s foremost recording artists with many hit songs to her name, such as “I Will Never Let You Down” “Grateful,” and “Black Widow.” The multiplatinum entertainer has also starred in films, such as Fifty Shades of Grey, Fast and Furious 6 and Southpaw, and modeled for beauty and fashion brands including Adidas, Rimmel and Madonna‘s Material Girl clothing line. She was also a judge on two popular television singing competition series in the United Kingdom – The Voice and X-Factor.

Ora was first signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label in 2008. The relationship dissolved in May after the songstress reportedly filed a lawsuit against the label.
