Robin Thicke to Perform During Steve Harvey Neighborhood Awards Weekend

Credit: Harper SmithRobin Thicke is the latest singer to join the all-star slate of performers at comedian Steve Harvey’s 2015 Neighborhood Awards Weekend, August 6 through 9 in Atlanta.  Robin joins previously announced acts including Usher, Tyrese, Babyface, Ne-Yo and Erykah Badu.

The awards show, now in its thirteenth year, features twelve “non-traditional” categories, including Best School Teacher, Best Barber Shop, Best Church and Best Community Leader. Harvey says his goal is to “recognize and celebrate men and women nationwide who uplift their neighborhoods through their contributions and excellence as entrepreneurs, religious/community leaders, educators and more.” As previously reported Jodeci, K. Michelle, Salt-N-Pepa, Jazmine Sullivan and Yolanda Adams also will perform.

Harvey will host the awards show on August 8 at Philips Arena, and also will broadcast Family Feud live from the Georgia World Congress Center on August 7. His list of awards show presenters includes Sanaa Lathan, Kandi Burruss, Anthony Anderson, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Michelle Williams, Erica Campbell from Mary Mary and Faith Evans.

Activities during the weekend including a standup comedy jam, college expo, health pavilion, drumline showcase and Greek step show.
