Bennett Raglin/Getty Images for BETIs there anything that Saweetie can’t do? If so, it’s definitely not her ability to navigate the industry as a businesswoman and land yet another collaboration with online clothing brand Pretty Little Thing.
The 26-year-old rapper has teamed up with PLT again for a new collection and she tells ABC Audio that the decision to do so was an easy one.
“For me, it just kind of made sense,” she explains, referencing the use of the word “pretty” in both the brand’s name and the name of her upcoming debut album Pretty B***h Music.
In an Instagram video on December 2, the “Back To The Streets” artist teased her upcoming fashion drop and, while she didn’t reveal the release date, she told fans to “stay tuned, it’s coming real soon.”
Saweetie has partnered with the label before for a collection described on the site as everything “from sexy street-style to show-stopping, figure-worshiping dresses.” The latest drop though, she describes as “grown and chic” in the caption of her post.
For the announcement, the “Tap In” rapper rocked a tan bomber jacket over a revealing brown top, matching bottoms and gold jewelry. Whether this was a glimpse of what’s to come from her latest collaboration remains a mystery but either way fans are in for a treat.
“We kind of built out a set, a world, or pretty planet, so I’m so excited to bring ya’ll to this world,” she says.
