Heather Wines/CBSEarlier this month, Jennifer Hudson revealed that she landed a guest role on Fox’s new hit series Empire and now, fans are getting a first glimpse at the upcoming episode, which airs next week.
In a lengthy teaser, Hudson portrays a musical therapist who serenades Trai Byers‘ character, Andre, in the episode titled “Sins of the Father.” After playing the piano, the pair get close and Hudson says: “This might be against hospital rules.”
Meanwhile, Mary J. Blige stars as an entertainer alongside Terrence Howard, who plays Lucious Lyon, a hip-hop music mogul, and Taraji P. Henson, who plays his outspoken ex-wife, Cookie.
Empire airs next Wednesday, March 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
