Sevyn Streeter announced some exciting news via her Twitter account on Thursday.
The singer’s smash single, “It Won’t Stop” featuring Chris Brown, has officially reached gold status, after selling 500,000 copies since its August 2013 release. “THANKS TO YOU!!!! I 7OVE & APPRECIATE YALL SOOO MUCH!!!!” she tweeted to her fans. “YALL REALLY ARE AMAZING!!!”
Her frequent collaborator congratulated her on the accomplishment, to which she replied, “Thx for EVERYTHING bruh! Love U.”
After releasing her Call Me Crazy, But…EP last year, Sevyn is currently working on her first full-length studio effort and she recently confirmed that she’s contributed to Brown’s highly anticipated album, X, due out on May 5.
