TDE/RCA RecordsTop Dawg Entertainment‘s own SiR has officially signed with RCA Records, in preparation for the release of his sophomore album Chasing Summer.
Tuesday, the R&B sensation shared the news with fans on social media and teased that the lead single off his long-awaited project is set to feature TDE cohort Kendrick Lamar. Titled “Hair Down,” the track is due to arrive on all major streaming platforms Thursday.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity my hard work has provided me,” SiR shared in a statement. “I’m more than ready to share what my team and I have been working on, and we’re more than excited to see what the future holds.”
Chasing Summer serves as a follow-up to the California crooner’s critically-acclaimed major label debut November. While further details on the effort are scarce at the moment, the LP is set to be released on August 30.
