ABC/Fred LeeKenneth “Babyface” Edmonds has officially launched a new publishing company, Good Vibes Music Group, in partnership with Black Box Music president Jason Murray.
As part of the new venture, Babyface and Murray are also looking for music’s next great producers and songwriters, via their first-ever “Discovery Song Camp.”
In a statement, Babyface says, “I believe that all over the world there are incredible songwriters and producers that have never been discovered.”
“With the launch of our Good Vibes Discovery Song Camp and Good Vibes Music Group, we are giving those songwriters and producers a chance to be heard, to be mentored, and to realize their dreams.”
The song camps will take place in four cities — Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville and London — over the course of four months, starting in April.
Chosen attendees will not only have the chance to learn from Babyface, who’s worked with a number of icons such as Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Michael Jackson, but other elite industry professionals as well.
