Solange Knowles‘ songwriting skills have landed her a gig with the New York City Ballet. The singer was tapped to write a new score for the company’s 10th annual Fall Fashion Gala.

According to a press release, members of the New York City Ballet Orchestra will join with Solange’s frequent collaborators to perform the score, while dancers take the stage in a piece choreographed by Gianna Reisen.

Solange’s proven her songwriting abilities with credits on Destiny’s Child “Bad Habit,” sister Beyoncé‘s “Upgrade U,” “Get Me Bodied,” and “Scared of Lonely,” and her very own “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair.”

The score for New York City Ballet, however, marks her first composition for a ballet company.

The Fall Fashion Gala is slated to premiere on September 28 at Lincoln Center. Subsequent shows will be performed in October and May.
