Columbia Records/Carlota GuerreroSolange‘s recently performed with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd, proving that dreams can indeed come true.
The R&B singer joined the rock band for an onstage performance of the group’s 2001 track song “Aqueous Transmission” in New Orleans Wednesday night.
You can watch fan-recorded footage of the collaboration via Instagram.
Incubus guitarist Michael Einziger also tweeted a photo of him alongside Beyonce‘s sister.
“Thank you so much for playing with us tonite @solangeknowles,” he wrote.
Earlier this year, Solange penned a letter to her teenage self for publication in Teen Vogue.
In the piece she revealed her childhood crush on Boyd, writing that she once went through a “Rasta-vegan-thrifter-who-is-determined-to-marry-Brandon-Boyd” phase.
The “Where Do We Go” singer is currently touring across the States and is set to headline this year’s AFROPUNK festival August 26 in Brooklyn, New York.
