Dimitri Hakke/RedfernsSolange has announced a string of concerts to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey, which devestated her hometown of Houston.
The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce a special show at Boston’s Orpheum on September 28, all proceeds of which will go to Harvey relief.
“I’m committed to partnering with organizations on the ground in Houston and making contributions to uplift the city that raised me with so much love. See you September 28th Boston, I thank you in advance for making this a special meaningful night!” she wrote.
The singer also announced that she has added a second show at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, and that $3 from every ticket sold for the new date will go to Harvey relief. That show is scheduled for October 3.
