David Becker/Getty Images via ABCPresident Barack Obama farewell party this Friday appeared to be a magical night to remember for many of the event’s celebrity guests.
Solange, Usher, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, and wife Chrissy Teigen, Wale, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks all attended the exclusive affair to say goodbye to Obama, as he prepares to leave the White House after eight years in office.
“The sound check of life…Was truly the ultimate, ultimate honor. Can’t even put into words. Really. We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share. #obamaout,” she wrote.
Solange’s sister Beyonce performed at Obama’s Inaugural Ball.
Kelly showed up to the White House with hubby-manager, Tim Witherspoon and shared several pictures of her experience, including one where she stands smiling among celebrity friends, such as LaLa Anthony and TV host Terence J.
And Jordin posted a heartfelt Instagram picture, of what was surely a momentous occasion for both the American Idol winner and her football star dad, who she took to the party.
“Getting to take my Dad to the White House…Priceless. Soooo excited! Cheers! *drops mic*,” she wrote.
