Solid First-Week Sales Expected for Beyonce, Eminem & Rick Ross

Columbia RecordsThis week saw the release of Eminem‘s Shady XV, Beyonce‘s Platinum Edition box set and Rick RossHood Billionaire, all of which are projected to have a solid sales start, based on first-day forecasts.

According to Hits Daily Double, industry insiders estimate that the Em’s compilations album will sell approximately 155,000 to 165,000 copies in its first week while Bey’s re-released visual album will move  80,000 to 90,000 units and Ross follows with 65,000 to 70,000 estimated scans.

Those figure includes the newly added projections for streaming of the album, which is now factored in to chart figures. In total, 1,500 audio streams is equivalent to one album sold.

Elsewhere, Iggy Azalea‘s revamped version of The Classic is expected to move 25,000 to 30,000 in sales and streams.

The official sales tally will be released next Wednesday.
