Season 2 of Starz’s Run the World will officially premiere this spring. The network announced the comedy series’ May 26 release date on Wednesday and dropped a few first-look images teasing what’s to come.
As with season 1, Run the World’s second season will continue to follow the lives of three 30-something best friends — Whitney, Renee and Sondi — who are “living and thriving in Harlem,” while navigating “through the ups and downs of love and careers in their pursuit of world domination.”
Returning are cast members Amber Stevens West, Bresha Webb, Corbin Reid, Stephen Bishop, and Tosin Morohunfola, recurring guest stars Erika Alexander and Nick Sagar, and guest stars Jay Walker and Tonya Pinkins.
Newcomers include Tika Sumpter, Comedian CP and Isha Blaaker in recurring roles, as well as Cree Summer and Ashley Blaine Featherson-Jenkins, who will both make appearances as guest stars.
Season 2 of Run the World will premiere at midnight on the STARZ app, STARZ streaming and on-demand. It debuts at 9:30 pm ET on Starz.
