Stevie Wonder Receives Golden Globe Nomination for Original Movie Song

ABC/Fred WatkinsStevie Wonder is among the nominees for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced this morning in Los Angeles.

The music legend received a Best Original Song — Motion Picture nomination for “Faith,” a tune he co-wrote with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder for the animated film Sing.  

The song is performed by Wonder and Ariana Grande on the soundtrack.  

Also up for a Best Original Song Golden Globe is rock singer-songwriter Iggy Pop‘s “Gold,” Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the film TrollsLin-Manuel Miranda‘s “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana and “City of Stars” from La La Land.

Stevie recently performed with Lionel Richie at this year’s House Full of Toys Benefit Concert in Los Angeles. The star-studded holiday event also included celebrities such as John LegendQueen Latifah and Jazmine Sullivan

The 2017 Golden Globe Awards will be held January 8.
