Still crazy in love: Beyoncé and JAY-Z celebrate 10th wedding anniversary

by

PRNewsfoto/Live Nation EntertainmentWednesday marks 10 years of wedded bliss for music’s royal couple: Beyoncé and JAY-Z.

What makes this anniversary even more significant is that it falls on the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.‘s death and the late Dr. Maya Angelou‘s 90th birthday.

Bey and Jay first started dating when the former was just 20 years old, and they tied the knot in 2008.

Since then, the power duo has continued to captivate fans not just with their music, but also with their numerous public appearances, like their joint “Forever Young” performance at Coachella in 2010 and their Barbie and Ken-inspired Halloween costumes in 2016.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z also made headlines for several controversial subjects in their private lives, such as the famous 2014 Met Ball elevator incident that involved Bey’s sister Solange hitting and kicking Jay, and Jay’s subsequent admission of infidelity on his Grammy-nominated 2017 album, 4:44.

Beyoncé made her own statement about that rough patch on her 2016 smash album, Lemonade.

Bey and Jay celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary last year by sharing photos of their eighth wedding anniversary, spent at the Grand Canyon, on Beyoncé’s official website

The couple celebrated that special day with their daughter Blue Ivy

In addition, a new studio version of Bey’s song “Die With You” was released, along with an accompanying music video.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are proving that their bond is stronger than ever as they gear up for their upcoming On the Run II stadium tour

That kicks off June 6 in Cardiff, Wales and will take the two around the world into early October.
