Image Group LA/ABCLooks like The Weeknd is dropping his new album Thursday night.
Thursday afternoon, the “Earned It” star posted a message of what appears to be the cover art to the disc, titled My Dear Melancholy.
The cover itself shows The Weeknd’s face, half shrouded in black and dark orange tones. In the caption he simply writes, “tonight.”
As previously reported, The Weeknd hinted on Instagram of a possible Friday release of his forthcoming project by posting a screenshot of a text message conversation.
The Weeknd’s most recent album, Starboy, was released in 2016.
He’s expected to appear as one of the headlining acts at Coachella in April.
