Beatz will be the Global Chief Creative for Culture for the whole Bacardi brand portfolio. The producer announced the deal on his Instagram page on Monday. DJ Khaled also gave kudos to Beatz on his own Instagram page on Monday.
“Congrats @therealswizzz bless up my brother,” Khaled writes.
Chief Executive Officer of Bacardi Limited, Mike Dolan, gave a statement about the lucrative deal between the two global titans.
“For Bacardi, having Swizz as a partner represents an opportunity to sell more than just bottles and cocktails,” he states.
“It represents a convergence of our brands in lifestyle and cultural experiences. Consumers are identifying with brands that fit their lifestyle in culturally relevant ways and Swizz is the perfect partner to identify and forge these new consumer connections.”
In his new creative role, Beatz will have the ability to develop further partnerships and produce ideas that can elevate Bacardi’s brand in film, music and art.
“As the Bacardi Global Chief Creative for Culture, I will be involved in all aspects of the product — from brand marketing and advertising to innovation and selling platforms — areas to which I will bring a new, fresh perspective,” Beatz states.
