ABC/Lou RoccoTLC’s T-Boz recently surprised her fans with the first picture of her adopted son, Chance.
The entertainer shared the photo, which features a sweet mother-son kiss, on Instagram yesterday, writing “This is my Heart! Looking Back On this Special Day My Lil Big Man turned 1 years old! It’s NOT his Bday Today lol.”
T-Boz expressed her plans to adopt a child in 2012 during an interview with TV and radio host Larry King.
In 2015, while testifying against TLC’s former manager, Perri “Pebbles” Reid, in court, she mentioned that she was in the process of adopting a child.
T-Boz is also the mother of 16-year-old daughter Chase Anela Rolison, whose father is rapper Mack 10.
The “Waterfalls” singer previously stated in past interviews that doctors told her she would not be able to have more children, due to her sickle-cell anemia, an incurable blood disorder that can cause symptoms such as chronic and severe pain and fatigue.
