T.I. announces Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow will be back for season 2

T.I. took to Twitter to share the exciting news, with consideration for the difficult time we face right now due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. “Excited to announce that Rhythm & Flow will back for Season 2!!! Things aren’t easy right now, so let’s show the world some love,” he tweeted.

Netflix introduced the series last October, seeking to find the next big rap artist. Each week judges, Cardi B., Chance the Rapper and T.I. himself put hundreds of contestants in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles through various music-related challenges. The series had a stacked guest list boasting JadakissLupe FiascoSnoop DoggKiller MikeQuavoAnderson .Paak and many more. 

The series became a breakout hit, with rapper D Smoke taking the title in the end. The show was praised for its wide demographic of artists and quality talent. D Smoke stunned audiences at home with his incredible finale performance of “Last Supper.” No word was mentioned about when production for season two will begin. 

To prospective contestants, T.I. says, “We want to see you on S2!!! 

So get out of bed, off the couch and get ready to “Flex your talent” by submitting your audition tape to the Rhythm & Flow website.
