Courtesy VH1Seven months after Tameka “Tiny” Harris filed for divorce from T.I., there are conflicting reports about whether or not the breakup is on or off.
According to Bossip.com, the couple is “definitely moving forward with their divorce,” but asked a judge to keep the legal proceedings closed and confidential. However, HollywoodLife.com claims that Tiny is “overjoyed” that their marriage is starting to heal and wants to stop the proceedings.
A change of heart may have begun when the couple reunited at T.I.’s Father’s Day concert in Atlanta. Three weeks later, on July 4, T.I. surprised her as she performed with Xscape in Detroit. He presented her with flowers and brought their 15-month-old daughter, Heiress, on stage. Tiny serenaded him as they held hands, and after the show, she commented that the moment was “so special.”
At the Essence festival last weekend, Tiny told People magazine that since her estrangement from the rapper, co-parenting Heiress has been difficult.
“We still fight over spending time with the baby,” Tiny told People. In the past, she says, “We’d just spend time together, but now it’s like, ‘I want her,’ ‘No, I want her.’ ‘Well, you better come to my house then.’”
She also described her relationship with Tip as “a process,” adding, “Me and Mr., we’re in and out.”
