Issa Rae Joins ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Sequel

Issa Rae will be joining the cast of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.  She will reportedly voice the character of Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman. She shared the news on Instagram, writing, “The way I have loved Spider-Man since the third grade. A dream come true.”

At HBO Issa Rae’s ‘Insecure’ has been picked up for a 5th season. Season 4 will end in mid-June. Insecure is partially based on Issa’s web series, Awkward Black Girl.
