This Date in Black History: ‘The Liberator’ Abolitionist Newspaper Begins Publication

On February 2, 1831, prominent American abolitionist, journalist, suffragist, and social reformer  William Lloyd Garrison began publishing, ‘The Liberator,’ abolitionist newspaper, in Boston Mass.
