Tamar Braxton is so happy, honored and BLESSED to shoot first-ever movie role

ABC/Lorenzo BevilaquaIt looks like Tamar Braxton is following in her sister Toni Braxton‘s acting footsteps.

Monday, the “My Man” singer told fans via Instagram that she was “so happy, honored and BLESSED to be shooting my very FIRST movie.”

“OMG I’m having a BLAST,” she added in the caption next to a picture of her wearing what appears to be a waitress uniform, complete with a “Celia” nametag.

Toni’s latest TV movie project, Lifetime’s Faith Under Fire, premiered in late January.

She starred as real-life heroine Antoinette Tuff, who saved hundreds of lives after a gunman charged into an Atlanta elementary school in 2013.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no other information about Tamar’s first film role is available.

However, according to a tweet she wrote Monday, you can find out how to cook the entertainer’s “quick and easy Peach Cobbler” on her official Facebook page
