Mindy Small/FilmMagicTamar Braxton is poking fun at the reported ratings slump of her former show, The Real, telling Pastor T.D. Jakes that the Lord needs to “resuscitate” them.
In a clip from an upcoming episode of T.D. Jakes, Jakes asks Tamar if she was aware of her former show’s ratings. “I don’t know whether you know it or not, but The Real has been struggling a lil’ bit since you left,” Jakes tells Tamar.
Tamar, who didn’t seem too surprised by the news, offered her thoughts on the subject.
“Ooh Lord, ain’t that terrible, Lord Jesus,” she said as she jokingly closed her eyes and shook her head. “Help them Lord! Save it! Resuscitate!”
After the audience and Jakes laughed at her response, the pastor then asked, “If they were to ask you back, would you go?”
The promo stops before Tamar answers Jakes, but she posted the video to her Instagram and added her thoughts on the promo.
“Make sure you tune in tomorrow to get to the answer to this AND soooooooo much more,” she wrote.
