The anticipation is building for John Legend‘s upcoming Made to Love Tour with Tamar Braxton, which begins next month.  The “Love and War” singer has revealed why she’s excited to hit the road with an artist that shares her same level of passion for making great music.

“It’s so amazing to me. Number one, I am still in shock that I’m going on tour with John Legend,” she tells Grammy.com. “I’m like ‘I’m only Tamar Braxton, are you kidding me?’  And I’m just so fortunate, number one, because he loves music and he respects music and you can tell.  It pours out of him, and I’m the same way.”

She advises concertgoers, “For these little 30 minutes, honey, people need to expect to get their lives, wear some very comfortable shoes that you can dance in and sing along, because I’m planning on having a ball.”

Tamar previously told ABC News Radio that she was asked to join the tour before her album even came out.  “And so for me, it was so humbling and such a wonderful experience because I just couldn’t believe someone believed in me that much,” Tamar gushes.  “And I just really, really appreciate him for that.”

As previously reported, John’s Made to Love North American outing kicks off on October 20 in Connecticut and wraps up on December 1 in Los Angeles.
