Tamron Hall has opened up about her much talked about departure from NBC’s ‘Today’ show in early 2017.
The new mommy, Hall was addressing the Television Critics Association last week who said she knew from day one that the network’s decision to replace her with former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly was a “mistake.”
“Megyn’s success or not, I already knew they made the wrong choice when I (walked out) the door.”
Kelly’s stint on the network was short-lived as she never lived up to the expected ratings.
Hall continued, “I would never measure myself by her success or perceived lack thereof.”
Hall’s new nationally syndicated daytime talk show, “Tamron Hall” will debut on (Sept. 9).
She says she didn’t know what to expect after leaving the show and ultimately her departure from NBC and MSNBC, but she’s “glad and fortunate for the end result.”
She did acknowledge however that her departure in 2017, “felt like “a gut punch.“
Good luck on the new show!!
Meatime, Tamron is enjoying mommy-hood …
