This pandemic seems like it’s far from over, but here’s good news on how kids could benefit during this time. Families of low-income in Texas, some children could get $285 per child credit that could be used at grocery stores to replace school meals. As announced on Tuesday by Gov. Greg Abbott, children’s families will be able to spend these P-EBT credits paid by the federal government at grocery stores. Hoping that these credits will expand the access to healthy food for families and children in need. All money could be used the same way as food stamps.
