Its been a year of milestones for Teyana Taylor. Just two months after announcing she’s expecting her first child, the singer has gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers star Iman Shumpert.
The NBA standout proposed to the singer on Saturday night during their baby shower at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio, according to People. Sunday, Teyana confirmed the news and showed off Instagram pictures of her Ruby engagement ring, which features a diamond-encrusted band.
“I am his Ruby Woo, I’m still speechless. I love you baby,” Teyama wrote in the caption. In a closeup image of her ring, she quotes lyrics from Monica’s “Love All Over Me” and adds, “Thank You @imanshumpert for putting the color back in my life! I love you so much.”
The couple is expected to welcome their daughter, Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., on January 16, 2016. They’ve been dating since June 2014.
