Teyana Taylor lands her second win for Video Director of the Year at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards

Danielle SannwaldTeyana “Spike Tee” Taylor grabbed another award for Video Director of the Year at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards Wednesday Night.

Afterwards, the multi-hyphenated star took to Instagram to share the excitement about her second award for Video Director of the Year, after also winning at the BET Awards in June.

“Shootah of da year.Thank you @bet @bethiphopawards,” Teyana wrote. “Big mama was super preggo & still putting that work in man. It’s so dope to see the hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed #blackgirlmagic.”

Nearly one month ago, Teyana and her husband, NBA player Iman Shumpert, welcomed their second daughter, Rue Rose. The couple also share four-year-old Iman Shumpert Jr., known as “Junie.”

Over the past few months, Taylor dropped a number of self-directed music videos from her latest album, titled, The ALBUM. The singer, dancer, producer and director gave us glimpses of her second pregnancy in visuals for “Wake Up Love,” “Still,”  and the striking “Lose Each Other” video featuring the pop icon Elton John.

Under her production company, The Aunties, Taylor also directed music videos for Queen Naija, Lil Duval, and Lil Durk’s “Homebody remix,” in which she’s also featured.
