The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album OST Arrives Friday

The album features sixteen tracks from a variety of heavy-hitting artists, including Nas2 Chainz,Gucci Mane, Lil WayneWaleAnthony HamiltonNe-Yo and K. Michelle.   

The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album was produced by actor Nate Parker, who also wrote, directed and stars in the 2016 movie, which opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, October 7.  

“By curating a group of the best contemporary artists to sonically express their feelings of the film the hope was fans would recognize the connection and be curious to know more,” said Parker about the soundtrack and Nat Turner‘s legacy, which is the film’s focus.
