The Lox reunite with DMX on a new track from their upcoming album, ‘Living Off Xperience’

by

Johnny Nunez/WireImageThe Lox and DMX join forces for a Ruff Ryders reunion on their latest track, “BOUT S***.”

D-Block fellas Styles P, Jadakiss, and Sheek Louch made an extraordinary impact on hip hop in the late 90s and now they’re back to do it again.

DMX brought his signature growl and dog-bark ad-libs, rapping “…talk battling but ain’t battle Dog. My rap sheet longer than [your] catalog.”

On the chorus, X mentions, “You in the Lord’s house,” a nod to his spiritual side, but it has another meaning on this song.

The track hails from The Lox’s upcoming album Living Off Xperience, which arrives August 28th, accompanied by a podcast of the same title.

Along with the song, The Lox unveiled the album’s track list, which features appearances from T-Pain, JeremihWestside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, and more. Ahead of the album’s release, the iconic rap group released two singles, “Loyalty and Love” and “Gave It To ‘Em.”

This is the New York trio’s first team up in four years, following 2016’s, Filthy America… It’s Beautiful. Embarking Embarking on solo projects, Styles P dropped his latest project, Styles David: Ghost Your Enthusiasm in May, while Jadakiss released Ignatius earlier this year. Sheek Louch released Vol.2 of his Gorillaween mixtape series in 2019.
