by

Ron HarrisFans of The Revolution just can’t get enough of the group, who hit the road this year for their first tour in decades.

Members of Prince‘s original band have decided to continue entertaining fans well into 2018.

A handful of new North American dates have been added to the group’s itinerary, with shows planned in cities like New Orleans and Atlanta, including a New Year’s Eve show in Marksville, LA.

The Revolution formed in 1979 and underwent several lineup changes. Prince and The Revolution produced their seminal 1984 album Purple Rain

After Prince’s death in 2016, The Revolution reunited and began performing once again as a group in remembrance of the iconic artist, but decided to continue touring as a unit for fans.

Here are the new dates added for The Revolution’s reunion tour:

12/29 — Broomfield, CO, 1st Bank Center (with My Morning Jacket)

2/22 — The Joy Theater, New Orleans, LA
2/23 — Revolution Live, Ft. Lauderdale, FL
