Folks at the live event rocked out to songs such as “Baby I’m A Star” and “1999,” captured on Instagram videos.

Bilal and Prince’s former girlfriend and Purple Rain co-star, Apollonia Kotero, also made a guest appearance onstage, with Bilal providing vocals for Prince’s Purple Rain track, “The Beautiful Ones.”

Prince’s ex-wives, Mayte Garcia and Manuela Testolini, along with Susannah Melvoin — Prince’s ex-fiancee and sister to Revolution guitarist Wendy Melvoin — also joined the band onstage to pay tribute to the late icon.

The Revolution’s second reunion show in Minneapolis will take place Friday, with its third and final show set for Saturday.
