The Weeknd’s Starboy matches Drake’s One Dance atop Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart

by

Nabil ElderkinThe Weeknd‘s “Starboy,” is in its 20th consecutive week at #1 on Billboard‘s Hot R&B Songs chart.  That means it’s now tied with Drake‘s smash hit single “One Dance,” which held the number one position for 20 weeks in 2016.

But “Starboy” is only half the story.  An impressive additional six tracks from the Starboy album also appear on the same chart:  “I Feel It Coming,” “Party Monster,” “Six Feet Under,” ‘Sidewalks,” “Die For You” and “Reminder” are at number four, nine, 20, 23, 24, and 25, respectively.

And speaking of Starboy, which returned to #1 on Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums earlier this month, it currently sits at #3 on the chart. Big Sean‘s new album, I Decided, debuted atop the tally earlier this week.
