The Weeknd’s “Starboy” Tops Billboard Hot 100 Chart

Image Group LA/ABCThe Weeknd’s “Starboy” is finally the star of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song, featuring Daft Punk, jumps to number one this week, after eight weeks at number two.

The ranking marks The Weeknd’s third Hot 100 number one hit and Daft Punk’s first. “Starboy” replaces Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” which spent six weeks at number one thanks to the popularity of all the Mannequin Challenge videos featuring the song.  

The Chainsmokers’ “Closer,” featuring Halsey, comes in at number three, Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” is number four and Zay Hilfigerrr & Zayion McCall’s “Juju on That Beat” rounds out the top five.
