Image Courtesy James Dimmock/Atlantic RecordsOver the weekend, Trey Songz hit a major milestone and celebrated a full decade in the music industry. As the singer continues to move forward with his next album titled Tremaine, it seems that Trey may be teaming with Timbaland for a joint project.
The hitmaker spilled the news on Instagram while congratulating the singer on his continued success. “@treysongz congrats 10years n the game now my lil homie charge up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Timbo x Trey album soon!!!!!!” Timbaland wrote in the caption, along with a black-and-white photo of himself standing next to his fellow Virginia native. The pair have never collaborated before.
While details are sparse, the singer took time out to thank fans for their continued support of his career. “10 years later 10 years greater. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this journey. Still feels like yesterday…#blessed,” Trey tweeted.
