ABC/Heidi GutmanTLC may or may not be coming to city near you, after one half of the duo lost her voice.
Sunday night, the pioneering R&B group revealed they had been forced to cancel two shows after Chili was ordered by a doctor to undergo vocal rest. The impacted shows include a scheduled set at the California State Fair in Sacramento, as well as an upcoming performance on Tuesday night at the Stanislaus State Fair.
“It breaks my heart to tell our fans that we have to cancel our performance tonight at Sacramento because I lost my voice and my dr has me on strict voice rest,” Chilli tweeted on Sunday.
Bandmate T-Boz expressed a similar sentiment, adding: “Yes it breaks my heart too… And #Sacramento We’ll Come There Again… I’m sure at some point.”
In spite of the minor health issues, TLC are slated to kick off a summer tour with Nelly and Flo Rida July 23 in Alabama.
